AS A PILGRIM IN ASIA
Based on one of the chapters of his latest book, "Beyond - A Sentimental History of Travel and Travelers," about the diffusion of the human figure of Buddha across Asia from the influx of Hellenistic art from Gandhara, Gonçalo Cadilhe invites us on a journey through some Asian countries in search of a reflection on the power of beauty, the importance of roads, the myth of Alexander, and the quest for meaning in life that transcends all cultures and continents.
