The Chosen Work

In 2025, the São Roque Museum promoted the initiative The Chosen Work, a participatory action that invited the public to choose their favorite work from a selection of 20 iconic pieces from the Treasure of the Chapel of Saint John the Baptist. Recognizing the importance and success of this election, it continues to carry out activities that highlight this and other selections from the Treasure of the Chapel of Saint John the Baptist. Planned activities include thematic visits and educational workshops that deepen knowledge and appreciation of these works, promoting dialogue between the public and the heritage. The next edition will be dedicated to the relics of the São Roque Collection, inviting the public to discover, appreciate, and choose the piece that moves and represents them the most.
