Between the lines of this narrative, unusually successful business initiatives that keep the Domingos Barreiro signature are made known, such as Sociedade Comercial José Domingos Barreiro Limitada or Banco Português do Atlântico. In addition to the chronicle of success, the nickname Domingos Barreiro remains alive thanks to the large donation that father, mother and daughter made to Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa in the 50s of the 20th century, a gesture of generosity that gave rise to a unique project. and pioneer of health care and support for children that remains to this day.
