Administrative Files. Training Manual

Taking into account the demands of a Society in which, more and more, access to information is desired quickly and effectively, this Manual intends to raise awareness of all people and, in a particular way, employees from Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML) who deal daily with administrative files, for the advantages of organizing and keeping them organized.

The exponential increase in the documentation produced, the growing demand level of the Society and the legal imposition of providing, in good time, administrative information to citizens, make a more proactive attitude on the part of the employees essential, in the sense of more rationally organized files can be created. These files allow an efficient and fast retrieval of information, in order to provide an effective response to the various requests.

We will therefore seek to address a series of basic notions and transmit a set of procedures and good practices that, being applied by all, aim to ensure better management and treatment of documentation/information.
