Administrative Files. Training Manual

Considering the demands of a society where access to information is increasingly desired to be swift and effective, this Manual aims to raise awareness among all individuals, particularly the employees of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML) who deal daily with administrative files, about the advantages of organizing and maintaining them organized.

The exponential increase in the documentation produced, the growing level of demand from society, and the legal requirement to provide timely administrative information to citizens make it essential for employees to adopt a more proactive attitude in creating organized files in a more rational manner. These files allow for efficient and quick retrieval of information, enabling effective responses to various requests.

Thus, we will seek to address a series of basic concepts and convey a set of procedures and best practices that, when applied by everyone, aim to ensure better management and handling of documentation/information.
