Since its foundation, Misericórdia de Lisboa has assumed the mission of providing medical assistance to the poor. A journey of four centuries, from the home care of the “visits” to the birth of the first medical posts, without forgetting the care provided to prisoners in the capital or to exposed children and pensioners.
