Since its foundation, the Misericórdia de Lisboa has taken on the mission of providing medical assistance to poor patients. A journey of four centuries, from home care for the “visited” to the establishment of the first medical posts, not forgetting the care provided to prisoners in the capital or to exposed children and pensioners.
