Article: History of the documentation and information center I

In the early 1960s (1963), the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisbon felt the need to create a Documentation Center, under the Social Action Service, following the establishment of a Study Group (Resolution of the Board, dated 24.04.1962), which aimed at study and research, with a view to general planning and improvement of work methods.
