Article: History of the Documentation and Information Center I

In the early 1960s (1963), Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa felt the need to create a Documentation Center, dependent on the Social Welfare Service, following the creation of a Study Group (Deliberation by the Board, of 24.04.1962), whose objective was the study and investigation, with a view to general planning and improvement of working methods.
