Addressing the educational function of museums and how they seek to fulfill their public service mission through the provision of a diverse educational and cultural offering that is attentive to the desires and needs of various audiences requires reflection on a diverse set of questions, namely: What educational model? What are the limits of action of the educational service and how does it relate to the other areas of the museum's activities? What structure and what human resources are needed for an educational service?
