The documentation resulting from inheritances, legacies, and donations constitutes an important part of the documentary heritage held by the Historical Archive of the Lisbon Misericórdia. The incorporation and processing of these documents allow us to honor and perpetuate the memory of the benefactors of the Santa Casa, in addition to increasing the capacity to respond to research in various fields of knowledge.
