In the context of the commemorations of the 5th centenary of the birth of São Francisco de Borja (1510–1572), in 2010 the Museum of São Roque celebrates this event evoking this Jesuit saint, whose life is deeply linked to the foundation of the Church of São Roque and the former Casa Professa da Companhia de Jesus.
