Audiobook "Give Me Music"
The project was born at the Calouste Gulbenkian Center for Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation (CRPCCG), of the Santa Casa, where a group of users wrote and set to music various poems, with the valuable help of the conductor and monitor Nelson Mendes and the Professional School of Image (EPI), in partnership with the Editorial Center of the Lisbon Misericordia.
Throughout the year 2025, various themes that make up – and will make up – the audiobook were born, which currently features four songs, but will only be complete when it reaches ten.
The Editorial Center admitted that “no one was indifferent” when they received the idea, given “the stories behind the lyrics” composed by the users.
“It is a very beautiful project and the Editorial Center has this gift of perpetuating stories over time, whether on paper or digital. We have that ability. Follow the project on the YouTube of Santa Casa.”
