In the year in which it celebrates its 521st anniversary, Misericórdia de Lisboa, through its Editorial Center, is proud to present the Cadernos Técnicos Holy House of Mercy of Lisbon.
With them, we are committed to sharing the knowledge and experience of those who, inside or outside this institution, put their vocation and knowledge at the service of the “other”.
This booklet aims to share the way in which the Directorate of Childhood, Youth and Family (DIIJF) reflects and intervenes in the promotion of autonomy, which is a central axis of all its action.
In a first article, prepared by the CARE Team (Project for the qualification and reconfiguration of SCML shelters), the way in which autonomy is promoted in the multiple areas of intervention of the DIIJF is presented, as well as the evidence of its importance in the entire strategy to be implemented, broken down into transformative responses with the objective of breaking transgenerational cycles of dependence.
