Technical Notebooks 03 - Health and Aging

Health and Aging is the theme chosen for the III volume of the Santa Casa Technical Notebooks.

As Portugal is one of the countries in the European Union with one of the highest percentages of elderly people, the relevance of a cross-cutting reflection arises not only as a necessity to combat disease but also as a priority regarding health promotion: from the prevention of Alzheimer’s to the use of technology by the elderly, from the importance of nutrition or oral health to specific care in the area of orthopedics.
