Cadernos Técnicos 11 - Construção ou adaptação de edifícios para arquivo: contributos para a elaboração de um plano funcional

In keeping with its publication schedule, Volume XI of the Technical Notebooks of Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Lisbon is entirely dedicated to the construction or adaptation of archive buildings. A single article presents contributions to the elaboration of a functional plan, useful to professionals who may be responsible for the construction or adaptation of these buildings. The whole exhibition is built around a central idea: that any building must serve the multiple functions of an archive. Thus, a detailed study is presented that considers, in a multidisciplinary logic, all the issues involved - technical and others - allowing an overview of the theme and serving as a practical guide.
