Technical Notebooks 11 - Construction or adaptation of buildings for archives: contributions to the development of a functional plan

Following its publication schedule, the XI volume of the Technical Notebooks of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa is entirely dedicated to the construction or adaptation of buildings for archives.
In a single article, contributions are presented for the development of a functional plan, useful to professionals who may be responsible for that same construction or adaptation.

The entire exhibition is developed around a central idea: that any building must serve the multiple functions of an archive. Thus, a detailed study is presented that considers, in a multidisciplinary logic, all the issues at hand – technical and others – allowing for a comprehensive view of the topic and serving as a practical guide.
