Mental Health is the theme chosen for this SCML Technical Notebook, recognizing the importance that this specific area assumes within the scope of defining public health policies.

In this volume, part of the knowledge and experience acquired over the last decades of intervention is shared with a heterogeneous public.
The investment by Misericórdia de Lisboa, both in the qualification of its professionals and in the provision of specialized services, results in part of the heritage of good practices that is gathered here. And with this disclosure, it is expected that a significant contribution will be made to combating prejudice and discrimination that still continue to stigmatize those who face mental illness.
