Technical Notebooks 17 - Oral Health in Pediatric Age

Volume XVII of the Santa Casa Technical Notebooks on Children's Oral Health makes its presence felt again.
On this occasion of returning to the theme, six new articles are presented that address issues such as oligodontia, the impact of oral piercings, the effects of prolonged pacifier use, the prevalence of cavities among 6 to 9-year-olds, and reflections on good practices for promoting oral health.
Considering the importance of adopting healthy behaviors and lifestyles – fundamental for health preservation / disease prevention – the SOL team presents proposals that contribute to the effective promotion of oral health, focusing primarily on an educational and motivational approach, involving families and caregivers, as well as children and young people.
