The Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisbon and Administrative Law is the title of the present volume.

The articles presented result from the research work developed by a group of professionals from the institution, within the scope of "7th Postgraduate Course in Theory and Practice of Administrative and Tax Litigation, promoted by the Institute of Legal and Political Sciences and the Institute of Economic, Financial and Tax Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, in co-organization."

These studies have received approval in the aforementioned Postgraduate course and are of undeniable importance and practical utility for the SCML, an entity of private law that, by virtue of the law, also sees its status recognized as a public utility administrative institution.
