The present edition of the Technical Notebooks, printed with a new graphic image marking the 20th volume of the collection, chooses as its theme the challenges of longevity, guided by the ideal of a truly inclusive city, designed for all ages.

With Portugal having one of the highest aging indices in the world, reflection on this issue is imperative. In this sense, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Lisbon contributes here by sharing the vast experience resulting from its intervention in this specific area. At the same time, it gives voice to some of the partners with whom the institution works, in an extensive network, aiming to build an inclusive and plural society, where everyone, without exception, can see their real rights to participation guaranteed.
