Exhibition catalog "See All Things Anew"

The catalog of the temporary exhibition "See New All Things: From the Conversion to the Canonization of Ignatius of Loyola” reflects on the conversion process of Ignatius of Loyola and seeks, from a broader perspective, to understand how the construction of iconography and the celebrations of his canonization were important for the dissemination of the history of the life and image of the main founder of the Society of Jesus.
With scientific coordination by António Júlio Trigueiros, S.J., and Maria João Pereira Coutinho, this edition reveals new aspects of the history of the founder of the Society of Jesus.
The four texts authored by António Júlio Trigueiros, S.J., José Alberto Gomes Machado, António Camões Gouveia, and Maria João Pereira Coutinho reflect on the thematic axes of this exhibition, which brings together about 40 works, carefully selected and sourced from public and private historical collections, both national and foreign.
