The work presented in this manual was developed within the scope of the SIforAGE - Social Innovation for Active and Healthy Aging project, which aims to strengthen cooperation between partners in the area of active and healthy aging. Its main objective is to bring together scientists, end users, civil society, public administrations and private companies in promoting research and creating new products for a longer and healthier life. The first phase of this work involved the creation and testing of the intergenerational program to combat ageism (prejudice about age), in a close collaboration between two partners of the SIforAGE project: the Center for Research and Social Intervention of ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE -IUL) and the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML). The final objective is to promote this experience with other project partners, so that they can apply the program in their national contexts, thus allowing its dissemination in several European countries, as well as in Brazil.
