ImAGES – Intervention Program for Promoting Positive Aging Images in Children and Adolescents

The work presented in this manual was developed within the scope of the SIforAGE project - Social Innovation for Active and Healthy Ageing, which aims to strengthen cooperation among partners in the area of active and healthy aging. Its main objective is to bring together scientists, end users, civil society, public administrations, and private companies to promote research and the creation of new products for a longer and healthier life. The first phase of this work involved the creation and testing of the intergenerational program to combat ageism (prejudice about age), in close collaboration between two partners of the SIforAGE project: the Research and Social Intervention Center of ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) and the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML). The ultimate goal is to promote this experience among other project partners, so that they can apply the program in their national contexts, thus allowing its dissemination across various European countries, as well as in Brazil.
