Ju, Hero of Another Galaxy

Ju Vieira is a rare young man. He has an extremely rare disease, yes. But he is rare, above all, for his ability to observe the world around him and to express what he sees and feels through art. Reserved by nature, at the Casa dos Plátanos, Ju made a comic book project – co-authored with Filipa Afonso – the window to his soul, pouring into a story the adventures of extraordinary beings who, stranded on a strange planet, transformed into superheroes, protecting each other and saving the lives of innocents. A story that, at its core, is also and above all his and the other children of the Plátanos, "extraordinary beings" who turned their differences into special powers and found a safe harbor there. This book collects those stories, the adventures of Ju, Hero of Another Galaxy.

The launch took place on October 29, 2023, at 3:20 PM, in the auditorium of Amadora BD - 34th Edition of the International Comic Festival.
