It is a collection of undeniable documentary importance that invites you to travel through two more centuries of this activity, from the creation of lotteries - granted by royal decree of D. Maria I in 1793 to the Misericórdia de Lisboa - until the present day. , passing through the new games created in the second half of the 20th century. An approach to the history and actuality of social games, to which are added a look at lotteries in pre-contemporary literature and an analysis of the graphic aspects around social games. This catalog also makes known the games supervised by Santa Casa as a source of funding for the institution's social causes, but also for projects by many other entities, in the field of health, social action, culture and sport throughout the country.
