Happy Fifth - Volume 2

This collection published by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa about its heritage with historical and artistic interest continues with this second volume dedicated to Quinta Alegre, in Camarate, built during the court period. An interesting example of the old recreational estates in the outskirts of Lisbon, it constitutes a set of undeniable heritage value, greatly enriched by the remarkable set of murals executed later.

The objective that presides over this collection aims to enhance the heritage dimension through a permanent dialogue between the authors of the historical study and the architect responsible for the rehabilitation project, in a crossing of perspectives and complementary experiences that enrich both the reading of the past and the possibilities of more suitable solutions for future functioning.
