It is at the culmination of yet another stage that the proposal of the GovInt Matrix for the Promotion of Aging in the Community is now presented, which seeks to constitute itself as a guiding reference and support for the implementation of collaborative processes aimed at the development of socio-ecological environments favorable to longevity and aging in the community, and which integrates the conclusions of the dynamics developed within the scope of the 4th International Conference of the Forum for Integrated Governance, held in January 2018, under the motto: “What if we collaborated?”.
Before presenting and specifying the GovInt Matrix, the paradigm of aging in the community is framed in order to expose some of the demographic, institutional and public policy arguments that drive the emergence of collaborative and governance strategies integrated in the problematic approach of active and healthy aging in a community context, in a time of uncertainty, unpredictability and complexity.
