It is at the culmination of yet another stage that the GovInt Matrix proposal for the Promotion of Aging in the Community is now presented, aiming to serve as a guiding reference and support for the implementation of collaborative processes that seek to develop socio-ecological environments conducive to longevity and aging in the community, and which integrates the conclusions from the dynamics developed within the scope of the 4th International Conference of the Forum for Integrated Governance, held in January 2018, under the motto: “What if we collaborated?”.
Before the presentation and specification of the GovInt Matrix, the framework of the aging paradigm in the community is addressed with the aim of exposing some of the demographic, institutional, and public policy arguments that drive the emergence of collaborative strategies and integrated governance in the problematic approach to active and healthy aging in a community context, in a time of uncertainty, unpredictability, and complexity.
