The united people will never be defeated, the second volume of the trilogy Revolution, man!, offers a panoramic view of the collectives, passionate and untamed, that emerge in the Misericórdia of Lisbon at the first breaths of a freedom lived in common.
While the first book delved into the whirlwind of changes that April 25 brought to the country and the institution, this new edition broadens the perspective to the collectives that formed internally, such as the Commission of Representatives of the Staff of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa and the Delegates' Commission, the Revolutionary Brigades of the institution's workers, or even the general assembly of workers, on April 18, 1975, known as D-Day for the cleansing of leaderships in the Misericórdia of Lisbon.
“The editorial project “Revolution, man” was born from the desire to tell the story of April 25 at the Santa Casa, to know and make known the transformations, the episodes, and the battles that occurred during these days of democratic discovery in the country, but on the scale of the institution,” says the author.
