The people united will never be defeated, the second volume of the trilogy Revolution, hey!, offers a panoramic view of the collectives, passionate and untamable, that emerge in Lisbon's Misericórdia at the first breaths of a freedom lived together.
If the first book delved into the whirlwind of changes that April 25 brought to the country and the institution, in this new edition the focus opens up to the collectives that formed internally, such as the Commission of Staff Representatives of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa and the Delegates' Commission, the Revolutionary Workers' Brigades of the institution, or even the general assembly of workers, on April 18, 1975, known as D-day for the cleansing of leaderships at the Misericórdia de Lisboa.
"The editorial project 'Revolução, pá' was born from the desire to tell the story of April 25th at Santa Casa, to know and make known the transformations, episodes, and battles that occurred during these days of democratic discovery in the country, but on the scale of the institution," says the author.
