SET | Santa Casa returns to the Book Festival in Belém

The 7th edition of the Book Festival, with the high sponsorship of the Presidency of the Republic, is back at the iconic gardens of the Palácio de Belém, from September 25 to 28, promising four days of celebration of literature in the Portuguese language. Santa Casa Editions will once again be present at this initiative.

This initiative aims to honor national publishers and Portuguese-speaking authors, promoting reading, the dissemination of works, and direct contact with the public.

This year, once again, Santa Casa Editions will be present with a special selection of titles at special prices. Among the new releases, the following works stand out:

  • Rajá's Factory in Monsanto – Volume 6 of the Heritage Collection;
  • The Magic Suitcase – Take Me to Tell;
  • Cognitive Stimulation Exercise Notebooks – Volume 2;
  • Technical Notebooks – Repertoire of specialized content from SCML.

These titles reflect the commitment of the Lisbon Mercy with the enhancement of heritage, the promotion of literacy, and support for cognitive health.

On September 26 and 27, respectively at 4:00 PM and 2:00 PM, families are invited to attend the storytime of the book Princess Leonor – Queen of Portugal and Founder of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, by Idalina Veríssimo, in the BLX-CML tent. Also on the 26th, at 12:00 PM, there will be a book signing session with the author at the Authors' Square, within the festival grounds.

We are excited to announce that the Presidency of the Republic has ensured that all previously scheduled concerts will take place on the new dates of the Book Festival in Belém, with one more artist added:
