The bibliographic heritage of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, in the custody of the Documentation and Information Center, consists of more than 12,000 works published in the 20th and 21st centuries, essentially dedicated to topics related to the areas of intervention of this institution.

The bibliographic exhibition and the accompanying catalog are therefore intended to make known, in a systematic way, the monographs and periodicals existing in the Documentation and Information Center on “Health”, which is one of the statutory purposes of this Santa Casa .
