Being elderly – new challenges: bibliographic catalog

Aware of this reality, Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa has sought to support the city's elderly population, particularly exposed to factors of social exclusion and loneliness, through of Homes, Residences, Day Care Centers, Community Centers and Home Support. In the meantime, since January 2004, Santa Casa has been carrying out studies in the field of aging and home support, in order to substantiate, based on reliable indicators and prospective analysis, the decision on its (re)positioning in these areas.

In this context, the General Secretariat, through the Documentation Center, holds a bibliographic exhibition on the topic Being Elderly - New Challenges, within the scope of the Commemorations of the 506th Anniversary of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, which will be open until 31 October 2004.
