This Santa Casa Technical Notebook is dedicated to cemetery heritage, an area in which the role of the Lisbon Misericórdia stands out, particularly over the last two centuries, considering its involvement in preserving the architectural and sculptural value contained therein. Also taking into account the historical importance of this set of cultural assets, its study and the sharing of the knowledge resulting from it are essential.
The dissemination of the research work, as well as of the concrete action undertaken in the conservation and safeguarding of the buildings, not only promotes the dissemination of knowledge and good practices, but also brings the community closer to an artistic legacy inseparable from the space and memory of the entire community.
