The book” The Building of the Museum of São Roque. Over a Century of Renovations. History, Projects, and Interventions” proposes a thorough analysis of the architectural and museographic evolution of the Museum of São Roque, from its origins to the present day. The study covers the main moments of transformation of the building, contextualizing the architectural interventions within the historical and institutional framework.
Through the study of documentary sources, the aim was to understand how the architecture of the space reflects the values that have shaped the identity of the Museum over the last 120 years.
