Volunteering at Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa - a story of dedication

The history of Volunteering at Santa Casa intertwines with the history of the institution over more than five centuries. A story marked by help, dedication, commitment and love for others, especially those who are in a vulnerable situation.

Santa Casa volunteers are an integral part of the Institution, they identify with the Mission, wear the “shirt” and with great affection, responsibility and dedication help to improve the quality of life of the people targeted by SCML.

It is the story of this affectionate expression of generosity and the protagonist in the Misericórdia de Lisboa that is told in this volume.
